Ijazah (Quran Memorization Certification) Course for Adults

About the Course

Ijazah in Quran memorization is an advanced stage in Quranic studies where the student receives certification from a qualified Sheikh after completing the recitation of the entire Quran from memory with accurate memorization and proper Tajweed rules.

This course is designed for adults who wish to obtain Quranic Ijazah with a connected chain of transmission (Sanad) and improve their memorization and recitation according to an authentic and structured method.

After Completing This Course, the Student Will Be Able To:
    •    Receive an Ijazah certificate from the Sheikh with a connected chain of transmission back to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
    •    Recite the entire Quran from memory accurately without mistakes.
    •    Apply Tajweed rules practically during Quran recitation.
    •    Become qualified to teach Quran and grant Ijazah to others after fulfilling the required conditions.
    •    Strengthen memorization and improve recitation skills.

Course System:
    •    Flexible lesson schedules according to the student’s availability.
    •    Trial lesson before enrollment.
    •    One-to-one sessions (one student with the Sheikh/teacher).
    •    Continuous follow-up of memorization and recitation progress.
    •    Regular oral assessments to monitor improvement.
    •    Teaching methods that help strengthen memorization and reduce mistakes.
    •    Optional group sessions may be arranged for motivation and sharing learning experiences.

Requirements Before Joining:
    •    Ability to read the Quran correctly.
    •    Passing an assessment test.
    •    Completion of basic Tajweed studies.

Available Types of Ijazah:
    •    Ijazah in one narration, such as Hafs ‘an Asim.
    •    Ijazah in the Seven Qira’at through Ash-Shatibiyyah pathway.

Steps to Obtain Ijazah:
    •    Complete accurate Quran memorization.
    •    Study a Tajweed text, preferably Al-Jazariyyah.
    •    Obtain Ijazah in one narration.
    •    Study and memorize Ash-Shatibiyyah poem for the Seven Qira’at (according to the chosen type of Ijazah).
    •    Recite the entire Quran from memory before the Sheikh.
